The jharkhand MP has frequently been the party's leader, spearheading the discussion over the Women's Reservation Bill and attacking the Congress.

Nishikant Dubey, the Godda member of parliament for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has recently made a number of remarks that have drawn a lot of attention in Jharkhand politics. He discusses accusations against opposition leaders, demographic shifts, and political future projections for the state.

Perspectives on the Political Future of Jharkhand

Dubey said that all of his earlier prophecies, including the imprisonment of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren and the selection of Champai Soren as his successor, had materialized during a visit to Dumka. He added that the BJP would take power in Jharkhand by the end of 2024 and that elections would take place in two to three months. He made it clear that the BJP would deal with corruption and take action against those who are involved.

Concerns About Infiltration and Demographic Shifts

Due to the flood of illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, Dubey has voiced concerns over the diminishing tribal population in the Santhal Parganas district. According to him, the Muslim population has grown dramatically, while the tribal population has dropped from 36% to 26%. In order to solve these problems, Dubey suggested designating portions of Jharkhand and West Bengal as Union Territories and pushed for the establishment of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the area.

Rahul Gandhi's alleged involvement

Dubey filed a privilege move against Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, in February 2025, alleging that during a speech in the Lok Sabha, Gandhi had misrepresented historical facts and damaged India's reputation. Dubey said that Gandhi's comments were a part of a foreign agenda and urged Speaker Om Birla to start proceedings.

Relief from the Supreme Court in the Airport Incident

Dubey and another BJP MP Manoj Tiwari received respite in December 2024 when the Supreme Court ruled that the Jharkhand Police had acted improperly against them in an airport incident. Although the court acknowledged that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) might act if required, it maintained the High Court's decision to end the probe.

Request for Waqf Bill Feedback Investigation

The submission of over 1.25 crore feedback answers to the Joint Parliamentary Committee examining the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024, sparked Dubey's concerns. He demanded an inquiry into the situation headed by the Ministry of Home Affairs because he believed there were outside forces at play, including foreign and fundamentalist groups.

conclusion

Recent remarks made by Nishikant Dubey have generated a lot of political discussion in Jharkhand. His claims against opposition leaders, worries about demographic shifts, and political future projections for the state have garnered both praise and criticism. Dubey's comments are probably going to affect the political narrative and voter sentiment as the state gets closer to possible elections.
